Anthropic has just released Claude Duet. It is an app where Claude works for you in the background, with the context of all your apps. Here is what it does, who can get it now, and the first five things I would ask it.

    A short brief every morning

    Every morning it goes through your connected apps and sends you a short brief on what needs your attention today.

    It connects to your apps

    It connects to Gmail, Slack and over 6,000 connectors and plugins, so it always has the context of all your apps. It messages you when something needs you.

    It works even when your laptop is off

    It is an app on your phone, and it runs on its own virtual machine. So it keeps working when your laptop is off.

    It asks before anything big

    It always asks you before it sends a message, pays, signs or deletes anything.

    Join the waitlist

    Open the Claude Duet page from Anthropic and join the waitlist.

    Check you can use it

    As of now it is a research preview for people in the US on the Claude Pro or Max plan. It is included in those plans and uses the same limits.

    Connect your apps

    Once you get in, install the app on your phone and connect the apps you use, like Gmail and Slack.
