Run Claude Code on DeepSeek and make motion graphics

You can now make motion graphics like the one in my reel with DeepSeek. The creator says his whole video cost him under 30 cents. Here is the setup, step by step.

    This free skill is what gives the video its look. Install it in Claude Code with: npx skills add alchaincyf/huashu-motion

    It needs Node 22 or newer, Chrome and FFmpeg. The creator has tested it on Mac.

How to set it up

    Sign up on the DeepSeek Platform

    Go to platform.deepseek.com and add a few dollars.

    Make an API key

    Go to API Keys, create a new key and copy it.

  3. 3

    Paste the setup prompt

    Paste the prompt above into Claude Code with your key in it.

  4. 4

    Restart Claude Code

    Close Claude Code and open it again. It is now running on DeepSeek.

  5. 5

    Add the motion skill

    Install Huashu Motion and ask it for a motion graphics video.

How much does it cost?

DeepSeek charges for what you use. The creator says his whole video cost him 1.95 yuan, about 27 cents. Check DeepSeek for current prices. See DeepSeek pricing

Do I still use Claude Code?

Yes. You still work inside Claude Code. It just runs on a DeepSeek model instead of Claude.

Does the motion skill work on Windows?

The creator has tested it on Mac, so Windows may need a bit more setup.
