The top 5 Claude Code plugins you need to install right now
These are the 5 plugins from my reel. All five are free and open source. Here are the links, what each one does, and one prompt that sets them all up for you.
The 5 plugins
1
FreeLLMAPI
tashfeenahmed on GitHub · 48K stars · free (MIT)
It puts the free tiers of 34 AI providers behind one endpoint. Its own number is about 7.4 billion free tokens a month. You sign up for the free providers you want and add your own keys. When one provider hits its rate limit, it moves to the next one. And you can run Claude Code on this free pool.
You need your own free key from each provider. You add them on its Keys page.
It gives Claude Code 66 film styles. Each style is a style prompt plus a demo film that Claude Opus 5.5 made entirely in code, with no video model. You pick a style, say what you want, and Claude makes the film for you.
A film takes the agent about 30 to 60 minutes and a fair amount of tokens.
DietrichGebert on GitHub · 185K stars · free (MIT)
It makes your AI agent write only the code a task really needs. Ponytail tested itself on 39 tasks in Claude Code. With it, the agent wrote 53% less code and used 45% fewer tokens, and the cost was 26% lower.
These numbers come from Ponytail's own test.

Agent Reach
Panniantong on GitHub · 109K stars · free (MIT)
It lets your agent search and read the internet from one tool, with no API fees. It reads web pages and Reddit. On LinkedIn, it only reads jobs and job details. X and Instagram are still experimental, and they need you to log in. So does Reddit.
It only reads. It never posts anything for you. YouTube transcripts need your own Groq or OpenAI key.
From my reel: Agent Reach's own README. LinkedIn is job search only, and X and Instagram are marked experimental.Open Agent Reach on GitHub

NVIDIA SkillSpector
Made by NVIDIA · 24K stars on GitHub · free (Apache-2.0)
It is a free security scanner for AI agent skills. It checks Claude Code, Codex and MCP skills for malicious patterns and security risks before you install them.
It finds warning signs. It is not a guarantee, so only install skills from people you trust.
Set up these 5 tools in Claude Code for me, one by one. Start with NVIDIA SkillSpector, and use it to scan each of the others before you install it. Read each README and follow its install steps. Ask me before you change any settings, and tell me when you need a key or a login from me.

How to set them up
1
Open Claude Code
In the Claude desktop app, switch to Code. Or open Claude Code in your terminal.
2
Paste the prompt above
It has all five links. Claude will scan each one with SkillSpector first, and then install it.
3
Add your free keys
FreeLLMAPI needs your own free keys from the providers you pick. Just say "tell me where to add my keys" and Claude will show you.
4
Restart Claude Code
Close it and open it again so it loads the new plugins.
Questions people ask
Are these Claude Code plugins free?
Yes. All five are free and open source. Lemo-Opuscar still uses a fair amount of tokens for each film, so keep an eye on your usage.
Does FreeLLMAPI really give you 7.4 billion free tokens?
That is its own number for a month: the free tiers of 34 providers added together. You add your own free keys, and it pools them behind one endpoint. When one provider hits its rate limit, it moves to the next one. Read the FreeLLMAPI page
Is NVIDIA SkillSpector enough to keep my skills safe?
No scanner is a guarantee. SkillSpector looks for malicious patterns and security risks. It does not sandbox your computer, and it cannot read encrypted or binary code. So only install skills from people you trust. Check your skills with my free prompts
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You paste the prompt and talk to Claude in plain English. I do not write code myself.
